Our coworking session dove into task automation and career reflections, while our social night proved that good company matters more than boardgame skills ;)

💻 How to make AI safe?
AI Safety Barcelona hosted a two-speaker technical talk at Universitat de Barcelona. Speakers Alejandro Tlaie (Pour Demain) and Pablo Moreno (Xanadu AI & VRAIN) shared insights on evaluating and mitigating risks from advanced AI systems, as well as answering some intriguing questions from the audience.

Test Kitchen Confessions with the Alt. Protein Club
We hosted a new Alt. Protein Club event in collaboration with Naked Innovations, creating space for honest conversations about the realities of working in alternative proteins.
We heard candid stories from Camilla Ariano, who shared how aligning her scientific background with her values led her into plant-based food, and Joost Lindeman, co-founder of Be Better My Friend, who spoke openly about the challenges of building a startup and the importance of adapting when things don’t go as planned.

At our last coworking session, we explored task automation - Joey shared helpful insights on how to cut down on repetitive work and streamline processes. We also enjoyed catching up with attendees about their job search journeys.
Community Games Night! 🎲
Anthony and Laura kindly hosted a group of us for a fun evening with delicious snacks and (questionably good) boardgames. And of course, we forgot take a photo!
