Community Spotlight đŠ
This month, weâre spotlighting a true milestone: the first EA Spain Summer Retreat, held in a quiet villa outside Zaragoza with 22 attendees from across the country.
The weekend brought together EAs working on everything from AI safety and mental health to community building and effective giving. We shared meals, hosted strategy sessions, got real about movement-building (and yes, played our fair share of board games.) Check out the recap on Linkedin here.

We were thrilled to welcome SofĂa MartĂnez GĂĄlvez earlier this month for a powerful talk on her journey from quantum physics to founding Learning Alliance, a nonprofit improving education in Uganda. With over 20 people in the room â many new faces! â Sofiaâs story raised reflection on risk, impact, and building with humility.
